Due to changes by our former blogging service*, as of May 26th, 2010, our NEW "RECENT ACQUISITIONS LIST" will henceforth be posted at http://www.alard-equipment.com/mt/recent/ Please make note of the change!  16" wide x 42" long "shuffling flight"ocsillating step bed aligns product and feeds to 8" diameter circular cutting knives on a 2" diameter center shaft, leaving room for product of up to approximately 3" maximum height. Presently set for 7/8" increment cuts; --knives / spacers/UHMW fingers can be replaced for other cut sizes. UHMW flights / steps vary in length from 3/4" long at the infeed to 1.5" long at the discharge. Step heights are 1.75". Sanitary food grade stainless steel construction including support frame set for a 32" infeed height, and a 27" discharge height. Complete with (2) central lubrication patches (one on each side), PVC control box with on/off switches controlling the 2 HP 3 phase gearmotor drive. Per manufactuer literature, the moving flight action of the Shufflo step-feeder spreads product out evenly, and aligns / arranges product into a perpendicular orientation to the blades to present product for increment cutting. Previous owner ran potatoes, but manufactuer literature recommends for many vegetable products, especially oblong vegetables such as carrots, celery, sweet potatoes, pickles, cukes, zucchini, etc, etc. In stock in VERY GOOD OPERATIONAL, mechanical, and cosmetic condition, available for immediate shipment.(Y0402) Monday, February 08, 2010

A new Allen Bradley Powerflex variable speed controller in a new frame-mounted protective control box which controls the under-disk mounted gearmotor drive which spins the disk via chain and sprocket to a center spindle. There is also a push-button on-off switch attached to the outside of the rails near the opening.
