An AGITATED IMMERSION WASH SYSTEM, wash and chill flume, with water-jet agitation for gentle but active washing for pre-cut fruits and vegetables, including cut or whole leafy greens, including delicate leaf products like spinach, baby spinach, spring mix and other pre-cut produce food products.

FEATURES:

• This spiral-flow turbulent immersion washer flume is 11 feet long by 31 inches wide with agitating water jets all along the left-side near the bottom to provide spiral water flow for gentle immersion washing of delicate food products.
  
  
• The helical flow wash tank overflows onto a 5 foot long by 30 inch wide ELEVATING DISCHARGE CONVEYOR with an interlocking chain type belt with fine perforations to allow the water to pass through while discharging the dewatered product onward.
  
  
• The conveyor is powered by a .5 HP stainless steel shrouded motor with an aluminum body gear reducer.
  
  
• The water falls through into a stainless steel catch and balance tank, with a new Thomsen model 8 stainless steel RECIRCULATION PUMP with 7.5 HP motor.
  
  
• Check valve included to keep the wash tank water from draining into the wash tank when the pump is shut off.
  
  
• All pipe fittings / connections are USDA food-grade sanitary.

CAN UNLOADER for ROUND VERTICAL RETORT BASKETS.

The Busse Hydraulic Retort Crate UNloader is a semi-automatic machine for unloading round metal or glass containers at a rate of up to 2 layers per minute from round, loose bottom, vertical retort crates.

OPERATION:

• Round vertical retort crate is moved into position.
  
  
• Hydraulic actuated sweep arm is placed in "out" position.
  
  
• "In floor" hydraulic ram jack raises the load until the bottom of the top container is slightly above the table top.
  
  
• Sweep arm unloads one (1) layer of containers onto the conveyor where they transition to a single file discharge lane.
  
  
• Separator sheet is removed to expose the next layer of containers.
  
  
• Operator extends sweep arm back to the "out" position and basket is raised to next layer.
  
  
• Process is repeated until the crate is emptied.
