FOOD PROCESS METAL DETECTOR, 41x8 opening,
stainless steel, with conveyor belt...

y3460zd_crop_email.jpg

A new Cassel Metalshark2 multi-frequency, USDA food grade sanitary, industrial process metal detector on a newly fabricated belt transfer conveyor. This is an industrial process product inspection system for detecting metal contamination in food products, and in other industrial process environment.

FEATURES...

  • 7 15/16 inch high by 41 3/8 inch wide USABLE aperture opening, with conveyor belt and bed in place.

  • Stainless steel search head enclosure. The search head is complete with integral touchpad operator controls with a 5.4 inch color screen, including RS-232 and RS-485 serial data acquisition ports, and ethernet data interface, in a stainless steel enclosure.

    • Optional data logging software is available for tracking and reporting for HACCP and other quality assurance and certification regimes.

  • Wash-down grade epoxy sealed liner and water-resistant search head enclosure, for wet environment wet product applications, such as fresh produce / freshcut fruit and vegetable packing, and other industrial process applications. NOTE: This machine was prepped for a dry application with a painted steel motor, which can be replaced with a washdown stainless steel shrouded motor at a nominal upcharge.

  • NEW STAINLESS STEEL CONVEYOR with 86 inch long by 37 7/8 inch wide interlocking plastic belt, and...

    • Integrated belt-stop alarm REJECT system, with new gasketed PVC control box.

    • 1/2 HP conveyor belt drive with VARIABLE SPEED controller.

  • 110 volt single phase (standard household current) electrical input. NOTE: This machine was prepped for a dry application with a painted steel motor, which can be replaced with a stainless steel shrouded motor at a nominal upcharge.

  • FOUR FREQUENCY LEVELS (35kHz, 75kHz, 150kHz, and 300kHz), allowing for optimal sensitivity across an exceptionally wide range of products / product types (wet, dry, salty, meat, fruits, vegetables, fresh, frozen, hot, cold, etc) allowing for maximum versatility with the widest range of products. The optimal frequency is automatically set by the system in "product learn"mode to maximize sensitivity / minimize false rejects with your specific product.

  • Sensitivity varies depending on product run, and frequency setting (determined by product characteristics), especially where wet, salty, or acidic products that are electrically conductive introduce "product effect" into the equation, however we have test run this metal detection system in dry mode and detected 2mm ferrous metal, 3mm non-ferrous, and 4mm stainless steel at 300 kHz frequency.

  • Quick teach feature learns new products in 4 to 7 passes.

  • The control unit allows for 120 product presets, where product presets save the frequency setting with the other tuning data.

  • Single control board technology with all control electronics on one circuit board maximizes reliability, and minimizes maintenance.

  • All food grade sanitary 304 stainless steel search head and conveyor construction.

  • Metal detector includes a 2 year manufacturer warranty on hardware / parts.
