An A.K. Robins BELT STEAM BLANCHER for steam blanching of vegetable and fruit products prior to freezing or canning in an industrial food processing operation.
FEATURES:
- 20 foot long by 26 inch wide stainless steel wire mesh belt with fine 1/8 inch wide openings runs through the steam tunnel.
- 2 foot long open belt infeed and discharge sections, with 16 foot length of travel in steam / steam vapor exposure.
- 2 foot long open belt infeed and discharge sections, with 16 foot length of travel in steam / steam vapor exposure.
- Top and bottom steam headers (over and above the belt), each with (2) zone input connections for live steam injection.
- (5) hinged top covers, each of which rests on all four sides in a system of hydrostatic-water-seal troughs, to prevent steam from escaping.
- Fully INSULATED body and covers.
- Vinyl flaps at each end to keep steam from escaping from the infeed and discharge.
- (6) side cleanout access for under-belt cleanout access (3 per side).
- Steam stacks at each end.
- All food grade USDA sanitary stainless steel construction.
- Highly polished "scalloped" stainless steel cosmetic finish.
- 3/4HP 3 phase mechanical variable speed drive geared for 18 to 80 inches per minute belt speed.
